Our Ultimate End Sealant is a wax emulsion sealer that will prevent up to 90% of end checking and splitting caused by dehydration of boards, lumber and even logs. Our formulation includes special additives to deal with climates that include extreme winters.
By applying to the end of freshly cut boards nearly all checking and splitting can be avoided.
DIRECTIONS
Apply liberally to the end of freshly cut lumber using a paint brush or roller. The sooner it is applied after cutting the better - we recommend keeping this handy screw top container near your saw so you can apply the sealer as each board is cut. Sealer is very slippery so avoid applying to walking surfaces.
