"Ipe Eater" Groove Cutter (for Biscuit Joiners)

This high quality tool enables a biscuit joiner to cut grooves in the edge of deck boards perfectly suiting clip&groove style hidden fasteners.  The width and depth of the cut produced with this cutter are optimized for Ipe Clips and EBTY.  As a result the groove profile will also suit most clip&groove style hidden fasteners on the market.

This cutter has huge ultra-hard carbide teeth which allow it to easily cut through tropical hardwoods such as Ipe, Tigerwood, Cumaru and Garapa.  The micro-grain carbide ensures that the blade stays sharper longer, and therefore produces much cleaner groove cuts.  In addition to tropical hardwoods, the blade also produces beautifully clean cuts in all domestic hardwoods, softwoods, composite decking and plastics.

The enlarged tooth size allows this cutter to be resharpened many times, yielding an exceptionally long tool life.
