These screws are intended for use with the Edge Screw Hidden Fastener System Installation Tool. The trim head screws are inserted into the tool's screw gudes, have a self-drilling tip, and a small trim head that allows the head to pass all the way through the screw guide.
The screws are stainless steel and also are completely coated a black surface paint.
Decks installed with this system exhibit a similar fastener-free top surface as achieved with clip systems, yet benefit from greater hold down strength than clips and do not require edge-grooved boards.
Board gap spacing is 3/16". Drive bits are T15 star drive. Custom extended bits are required if used with the system's installation tool and will provide proper and consistent drive depth of screws.
Each pack contains 700 screws plus two custom installation bits.
