This wax emulsion sealer is designed to prevent up to 90% of end checking caused by dehydration of lumber. By applying to the end of freshly cut boards nearly all checking and splitting can be avoided.
DIRECTIONS
Apply liberally to the end of freshly cut lumber using a paint brush or roller. Lumber should be saturated enough that end sealant drips off of the end (not excessively). Sealer is very slippery- DO NOT apply to walking surfaces.
